This warmer works and is easy to use!
This is the second cup warmer I have used and this one is the keeper. Very easy to turn on with one hand (or one finger) which my previous one was not. Being kind of a geek for fine detail - I love the digital readout of the temperature of the small hot plate. Setting mine for 165 degrees keeps my drink just perfect for me. I have had the warmer for a few days only, so this is not a long term review. After a few months I will be back here for an update. So far, so very good.

Best coffee mug warmer - don't listen to negative reviews!
I don't normally write reviews but I wanted to for this item as the naysayers are wrong AND the company is great. First off, I did have the problem some have listed here about the warmer staying on even though switched off (red off signal indicated unit off but it remains on & hot). I called the COSORI company and they couldn't have been more helpful or easy to deal with. They shipped me out a new warmer base at their cost (2nd day priority mail no less) with a PREPAID return label to send back the old unit. The new one works perfectly...I guess there were some with defective on/off switches that are out there but the solution is easy - CALL THEM!. Quite frankly, many of the reviewers here who complain and whine are too lazy to make a simple phone call and have the company deal with it (which they will IF given the chance). Also, those who say it doesn't keep coffee warm enough are nuts...it'll get the cup plenty hot & keep it that way IF you use a flat bottomed (preferably metal) cup. And those who say it burns their lips are either way too sensitive or have the metal cup filled right to the brim which may make the rim hot (but that's because of the hot liquid inside heating the lip of cup NOT solely the warming action of the warmer) - if the liquid inside is 1/2" below rim as is usual the rim dose not get or remain hot because of the heating plate. If you want the best coffee mug warmer this is it....and you can be confident that if there are any issues the company will stand behind it and fix it for you.

Updated review: Great customer service should there be any issues
Updated review: After having an issue with the first product sent to me, Cosori very quickly reached out and arranged to send me a replacement product. The new mug warmer does not appear to have the same whine issue from the charger that the last one has. As long as the product continues to work, I'll be quite happy with the functionality. I'm glad I purchased one where I can adjust the temp as I like my tea a bit cooler than most, apparently. Old review below for context: The product itself would be great... but... When I first got the product I generally liked it. Here's the pros: You can adjust the temperature of the heating element to make the tea or coffee or whatever the temperature you like. This is nice since I apparently like mine a bit cooler than others might. This should also allow you to adjust if you're using different cups though I've not fully experimented with this. The cons: The biggest one is that after only three uses the AC/DC power pack has started to emit a very loud whine. Unfortunately it's after my return window so I've contacted the manufacturer to see about a warranty replacement. We'll see how this goes. This thing is too expensive to become useless after two uses. I'm not super fond of the power switch. It's super easy to turn on and off with the touch of the button, and it concerns me that I could easily turn it on should something on the desk accidentally bump against it. A toggle would be preferable. I tend to unplug it from the back of the base for this reason. That said, this is easy enough to do and would save a tiny bit of electricity in powering the light for the power button so...? Not a huge deal. The whine though.... it is unusable with the whine.

"The best gift you've ever gotten me" - my boyfriend
This is a great gift for the person who always forgets about their cup of coffee/tea and then an hour later is disappointed that it went cold. You set the temperature and the warmer keeps it there perfectly. My boyfriend says it's the best gift I've ever gotten him. A couple of points: - Some people have complained in reviews about the stainless steel being too hot. The warmer is capable of keeping liquids very hot, so make sure you know what is a comfortable temperature for you. A quick search for temps at a common coffee chain shows that drinks are served between 130 (kids' temp) and 185 (extra hot coffee). I've found that I like 145 and the stainless steel is perfectly fine at that temperature. Obviously if you try to keep the drink practically at a boil you can expect to burn your tongue. - I initially did get a defective warmer unit that didn't turn off when it was supposed to, and I saw some other reviews to this effect, but the company was very responsive and sent me a new one right away that works perfectly. I wouldn't take off any points for this since they fixed the problem immediately.

Better than Ember
My son bought me an Ember warming mug for Christmas and it just didn't keep my drinks warm enough. So after returning it, I was in search of something with which to replace it. This product had great reviews and the temperature setting was enough to keep my drinks HOT. I only use the mug that comes with it as it has a thin and mostly flat bottom. I am very happy with this item. I did have an issue with the first warmer as at times it wouldn't turn off unless I unplugged it. I reached out to their customer service and they were AMAZING! They sent me a new warmer. I will now take the broken one to work and deal with unplugging it but at the same time enjoying hot coffee. This unit is very sleek.

Works very well with 1-degree temperature increments
Some coffee warmers provide two or three preset temperatures. But therein lies the big problem. We know that plate temperature is not the same as beverage temperature. There will be a difference of several degrees or tens of degrees, with the beverage being cooler than the plate temperature. But different types of cups have different thermal conductive properties and not all of them have flat bottoms to maximize contact with the warming plate. The metal cup that accompanies this has a flat base and is relatively thin (not too thin to feel flimsy or cheap, but just thin enough). So a lower plate temperature can keep the beverage warm. But a ceramic cup has different conductive properties and will need a higher plate temperature. Most of us have far too many coffee cups of different thicknesses and materials. And we all have different preferences for the temperature of our coffee. Compounding the issue is that different types of coffee may taste better with different temperature. So if you are limited to just 2 or 3 temperature settings, you are being forced to make far too many compromises. But not so with this Cosori warmer. You can adjust temperature in 1-degree increments and it's surprisingly easy to find the temp that best suits your palate because once you set the desired temperature, the device reaches that temperature quickly. The LED display shows the progress as the mercury climbs or falls. I received this unit yesterday and thought I would start with a plate temp of 158 degrees. Ouch, that was too hot and the coffee was evaporating too quickly. I played with the temperature and found that my ideal setting for Panera Bread dark roast is 130.0F. I even tried 132F and found it a bit too warm. Yes, even a 2 degree difference makes a difference. If I didn't have the ability to fine-tune the temperature, I would probably have returned this thing. A setting of 130.0F provides a very good balance between taste and evaporation rate -- for the metal cup that accompanies the unit. I will try my ceramic cup next. I know the physics (or thermodynamics) for this cup are quite different, but I'm confident I can dial in the right setting.

Awesome Buy.
Amazing product. I bought it as a gift and it was “loved” right away. The cup gets a little hot at the bottom but other than that I’m thankful to have purchased such a good product.

The Best Coffee Warmer!
I’ve had several different coffee warmers and this one is hands down the BEST! I’m able to keep my cup of coffee nice and hot for a very long time! I put hot water in the mug to “pre heat” it for a minute then brew my cup of coffee. I can then take it upstairs and put it on the warmer base and enjoy my cup of coffee for as long as I want without it getting cold. Anyone who is tired of their coffee getting cold so fast should absolutely get this item. It’s fantastic!

Mug and Warmer are Wonderful, I use them daily!
I love this mug and warmer, they work wonderfully and keep my beverage at the exact temperature that I like it! I enjoy drinking hot tea in the cold of winter but hate that it gets cold too quickly, so I love that you can really dial-in the temperature that you want and that the mug itself does not heat up so much as to burn your lip when you drink from it (although I have found that sometimes when the warmer is still warming up, the cup is a bit hotter and later it cools but the liquid remains hot) - I'm able to keep my tea hot until the last drop, so even when it takes me 45 minutes to finish a cup of tea, I'm still able to enjoy the whole thing. The handle and sleeve are the perfect shape and size for my large hands and the light weight of the mug makes it comfortable to use. I even just bought a second warmer so that I could keep one in my bedroom and one in my office and 2 more mugs so that I could more easily rotate them and clean them less often (they are not recommended for the dishwasher, but I put it in there anyway). There are two negatives - the warmer itself does give off a slight electrical smell, even when it is off and once I noticed that the plate was hot even though the button indicated that it was off and I had not had it on for 24 hours. This is a concern since I'd rather not burn down my house or have my pets accidentally burn themselves, so I just unplug it when I know I won't be around for a few hours, just in case - probably the safest thing to do anyway! I am overall VERY happy with my purchase!

Great little warmer
I like the flat-bottom mug that came with it. It makes great contact with the warmer and things stay nice and toasty for as long as you want. As others have mentioned, the metal mug can get quite warm over time . . . we have found that setting the warmer at 180F keeps the beverage warm without making the mug too hot. We also love that the heat plate has an adjustable temperature. It warms up quickly, looks nice, and is sleek and easy to unplug and move about the house. I bought this as a gift for my husband, I'm thinking about asking for one for Christmas!
